Philadelphia Elementary School has earned a school rating of "C" in the 2016-2017 State Accountability Ratings as set forth by the Mississippi Department of Education. PES overall score of 375 was 2 points away from a 377  "B" rating according to the accountability grade levels released by MDE. The score of 375 and "C" is a 61 point increase from the 2015-2016 scores in which PES scored a 314 and a "D" accountability grade level.

Everyone at PES is proud of the progress that our students, staff and administration has made during the 2016-2017 school year and are looking to reach even greater heights of an "A" accountability grade level in the 2017-2018 school year. With 67 more points, PES can achieve the ultimate goal of becoming an "A" elementary school.

We encourage the parents and the community to continue to set high expectations for our students and staff on a daily basis which will allow our ultimate goal of an "A" school to become a reality.
