PES will hold Red Ribbon Week on October 23-27, 2017. Red Ribbon Week is held each year to emphasize the dangers of drugs and to provide activities that help students to "Say No To Drugs!" We will have dress up days to bring awareness to being drug free. Dress up days are as follows:

Monday-Socki It To Drugs! (Wear Crazy Socks)

Tuesday- Too Bright To Do Drugs! (Wear Sunshades)

Wednesday- Put A Cap On Drugs! (Wear a Hat)

Thursday-Band Together Against Drugs! (Wear a Bandana)

Friday- Red Out Drugs At The Red Ribbon Rally! (Wear Red Uniform Top)

Daily facts about drugs will be read over the intercom during announcements each day of Red Ribbon Week as well. Each grade will be shown a 17- minute McGruff and Drug-Free kids video. The video will explain the dangers of drugs, how to deal with peer pressure, and ways to say "no" to drugs.

Students in grades pk-3 will create posters using the Red Ribbon Theme. Students in grades 4-6 will create an essay using the 2017 Red Ribbon Theme. The 2017 Red Ribbon Them is "Your Future Is Key, So Stay Drug Free."
