2017-2018 PES Verification of Residency

On Wednesday, July 12, 2017, from 8:00 am -3:30 pm and Thursday, July 13, from 10:30-6:30, we will have verification of residency for students in grades K-6 in the PES office. Everyone who attends school in the Philadelphia Public School District is required by law to submit new proofs of residency each year. The following items may be used as proofs of residency to satisfy the residency requirements for enrollment within the Philadelphia Public School District.


 Any two of the following with a valid street address may be used to verify residency:

• Driver’s license.

• Automobile registration.

• Apartment or home lease.

• Voter precinct identification.

• Mortgage documents or property deed.

• Filed homestead exemption application form.

• Utility bills, dated within 30 days of the date of registration, i.e. phone bill, gas bill, electric bill

• Affidavit of residency and/or personal visit by a district official.
